Hydrologic studies at Jhu ,Piray and Yetyty Brooks, Eastern Paraguay.

Abstract

The results of flow gauging and bathymetric survey conducted in Jhu, Piray, Yetyty Brooks are presented. They are based on 25 field campaigns (two periods) in the first, and seven in the last two for bathymetric measurements and direct gauging leading to establish its hydrometric regime. This regime that the Jhu and Piray have, is of irregular type, ie increases and decreases in the water level, constitute abrupt changes. On the other hand water level in Yetyty Brook is more stable. In addition, at Jhu Brook solids transport was also studied. It shows strong positive correlation with the flow.
